Inspection

What did the inspector find, and will the evidence hold up later?

XCam captures the whole inspection on a roof with no signal and syncs later. When the adjuster argues eighteen months from now, the claim and its evidence are still together.

What it does for you

  • Your own checklists, thirteen field types, built without a software change
  • Circle the hail hit without touching the original photo
  • A branded report on a link that expires, can be revoked, and logs every view
  • The assistant drafts the write-up and cannot save it until the inspector accepts it

What it does not do yet

Not built

XCam and the SystemX job file are two working products designed to connect. That connection is not built yet.

The report holds up because it was built from what was captured, not typed after it.

Status. Shipped, with the gap named on this page.

What it decides
  • Whether the inspection is complete: nothing completes until every required item is filled
  • Which photo proves which finding
What goes in
  • Your company's own checklist
  • Photos, measurements, answers and a signature, captured on the roof with or without signal
What comes out
  • A completed inspection with its evidence attached to each finding
  • A branded report on a link that expires, can be revoked, and logs every view
What it depends on
  • XCam, the product that captures it
  • The SystemX job, once the connection is built
What it requires
  • Every required item filled
  • A photo captured for the field it proves; a photo elsewhere does not count
What breaks without it
  • A roll of forty photos and no way to say which one is the damage
  • A report typed from memory after the fact
  • An argument eighteen months later with the claim and the evidence apart
