What every SystemX product runs on.

The same ideas run under a business's job, a referral, an inspection and a person's request: who owns it, what it needs, what happens next, and what was recorded. Here they are in plain words, and here is what each part does not do yet.

Eight things, one record.

Most software holds one of these well and loses the rest between tools. SystemX is built to hold all of them together, so a handoff never drops the thread.

  1. 01PeopleWho is asking, who owns the work, who did what.
  2. 02BusinessesThe company doing the work, its team, its territories and its rules.
  3. 03InformationWhat is known about the person, the place and the job, kept once.
  4. 04EvidenceThe photo, the measurement, the signature: attached to the thing it proves.
  5. 05ActionsThe one required next step, with an owner, a due time and a Result.
  6. 06DependenciesWhat has to be true before the next thing can happen.
  7. 07OutcomesWhat the work produced, and what that means for what follows.
  8. 08HistoryEverything that happened, in order, never edited.

Something comes in. It never sits.

Whatever the work is called in your company, it moves through the same eight questions.

  1. 01

    Subject and context

What is this about: the person, the place, the company, the market.

  2. 02

    Required information

What has to be known before it can move, and what is still missing.

  3. 03

    Owner

One person, assigned by hand or by a rule you set.

  4. 04

    Required next Action

The one thing the owner does next, with a due time.

  5. 05

    Dependency

What this step waits on: a deposit, a permit, a signature, a photo.

  6. 06

    Result

What happened when the Action was done. Only lawful Results are offered.

  7. 07

    Handoff

The Result opens what follows, with the record intact.

  8. 08

    History

The Action, the Result and the reason, kept once and visible.

Ten stages from the first call to the bank.

For a company that does jobs, this is the loop, over and over. Tap a stage. The four in red are where most software stops and SystemX keeps going.

A name and an address come in. They go to the right rep, same day.

Seven parts. Each does one job.

Where a part is not built, it says so on the same card. That is the rule on this site.

The same ten questions, on every engine page.

You should be able to judge a part of the platform without reading its code. Every engine answers the same questions, in this order.

  1. 01The question it answersThe one thing you want to know from it
  2. 02What it is forIts job, in a sentence
  3. 03What it decidesThe rules it applies
  4. 04What goes inIts inputs
  5. 05What comes outIts outputs
  6. 06What it depends onThe parts it needs
  7. 07What it requiresWhat has to be true before it moves
  8. 08What breaks without itThe failure it prevents
  9. 09Why it mattersThe consequence
  10. 10What is not builtThe gap, named on the same page

Every open job always has a next step. Nothing is forgotten. Nothing is stranded.

The command center runs on one rule: an Action gets a Result, the Result determines what happens next, and the work continues. SystemX AE applies the configured rules. Notes do not control workflow.

Ownership, continuity and history

How SystemX works

Nothing sits without an owner and a next step.

Most tools hold information. SystemX holds work: who owns it, what it needs, what happens next, and what happened. These seven ideas run under every product.

  1. 01OwnershipEvery piece of work has one owner. Not a team, not an inbox: a person.
  2. 02RequirementsWork says what it needs before it can move: the information, the evidence, the approval.
  3. 03HandoffsWhen a stage closes, the next one opens with the record intact. Nobody retypes the job.
  4. 04ActionThe owner always has one required next Action, with a due time and what it is worth.
  5. 05ResultCompleting an Action takes a Result, and the Result decides what happens next.
  6. 06ContinuityThe person, the place and the case stay connected through everything that follows.
  7. 07HistoryWhat happened is kept once, in order, and never edited.

The business version

One job. One record. Every handoff.

For a company that does jobs, those ideas look like this: a lead becomes an inspection, a proposal, a contract, a job file, cost lines, a commission and cash in the bank, on one record carried forward. Tap a stage.

Intelligence and human authority

Intelligence

Built in, with a person in charge.

SystemX is built around the distance between what you mean and what gets done. Intelligence closes that distance where it can, and stops where a person has to decide.

  1. Intent
  2. Understanding
  3. Capability
  4. Action
  5. Outcome

Make people stronger before making AI stronger.

What intelligence may do on its own

  • OrientTell you where you are and what matters here
  • RetrieveFind the record, the rule or the page
  • ExplainSay what a thing means in plain words
  • ComparePut two options side by side
  • RouteSend you, or the work, to the right place
  • PrepareDraft what a person will review
  • ProposeSuggest the next step, and say why

What always needs a person

  • AuthorizeDeciding that something consequential happens
  • RecordWriting it into the product that owns it

On this site today, the go-to palette finds pages. It does not answer questions; that surface is not built, and nothing here pretends otherwise.
